Our Story

Les Petits Artistes began as a shared vision between Patricia and Alysha, two educators passionate about creating calm and creative spaces where children can grow in independence and confidence. It is an inspiring place where positive guidance, safety protocols, and engaging learning are practiced daily. Our first school in Vancouver quickly became a close-knit community built around the special moments, bonds, and trust that have developed over the years, earning us an impeccable reputation. Montessori, art, and French exposure are the pillars of all the inspiring activities we offer. Seeing the impact of that community inspired us to bring Les Petits Artistes to Edmonton.

We are excited to continue that same thoughtful and nurturing approach with families here.

When you walk into our classrooms, you’ll notice the difference. Each space is thoughtfully prepared to feel peaceful, welcoming, and consistent from day one. Clear daily rhythms and carefully arranged materials create structure without chaos, so your child feels comfortable, knows what to expect, and has room to explore, learn, and grow with confidence.

Testimonials
Montessori-Inspired Independence

We encourage your child to explore, discover, and solve problems at their own pace. Using Montessori-inspired materials and lessons in practical life, sensory play, early math, and language, children experience both guided and independent learning. This approach builds confidence, focus, and independence naturally, helping them develop skills and pride in what they can do.

Testimonials
Creative Arts & French Exposure

Art, music, and French language experiences are integrated into your child's weekly routine. These meaningful activities foster creativity, enhance communication skills, and promote self-expression, helping your child grow in confidence and curiosity. Daily French circles, songs, and themed vocabulary expose children to various styles and techniques of different art media.

Our Founders & Visionaries

At the heart of Les Petits Artistes is a simple belief: children thrive in environments where they feel loved, understood, and positively guided through their developmental stages.

Our founders established this center with care and intention, inspired by their passion for Montessori education, early learning, the arts, and the French language, as well as, importantly, fostering meaningful connections based on trust and mutual respect. Their vision remains at the core of our community today.
